"So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known."

— Matthew 10:26

Africa

  • Praise God for the first arrest this year of a suspect in one of our property grabbing cases in Kampala, Uganda. Our legal team was relentless in working with the court and police officers to demonstrate that there was enough evidence against the suspect to justify an arrest. Pray for continued progress in this case, and that the arrest will send a strong signal that violence against widows will not be tolerated in Uganda.

Latin America

  • Praise God for the opportunity to hold a human trafficking workshop for 36 church pastors and leaders in the Dominican Republic. Pray that the church will be awakened to the realities of trafficking in the DR, and be inspired to take a role in living out God’s call to justice for the oppressed.

South Asia

  • Please ask for God’s grace and healing for a young couple rescued from forced labor slavery who just found out they are both living with HIV. Mercifully, their young baby has tested negative, but will need additional tests in the future. IJM will help provide ongoing medical care for this family, but we know they are feeling many emotions and have many questions. Pray we can comfort them well in this difficult time.

Southeast Asia

  • Praise God for a rescue operation conducted by the Cambodia military police that resulted in seven young children being removed from an exploitation situation where they were forced to beg. Please pray for justice in this case and for the survivors’ full healing.

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Please ask God to bring the right people to join IJM’s team, both for positions at our Headquarters and in our Field Offices around the world. Pray for wisdom as our Recruiting Team reviews applications and interviews candidates, seeking to bring the women and men on board who will help make justice for the poor unstoppable.
  • Specifically, please pray for a Vice President and Controller to join our team. We are seeking a talented leader to provide financial oversight for all aspects of the general accounting, financial planning & analysis, accounting services, grants accounting and field office finance teams.

IJM Prayer Requests

The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made."

— Psalm 145:9

Africa

  • Praise God for giving our team in Gulu, Uganda the opportunity to present on the legal aspects of the Domestic Violence Act at a national forum for leaders in northern Uganda. This was a wonderful opportunity to build good relationships with local leaders and media, and emphasize the importance of enforcing laws that protect women’s rights.

Latin America

  • Praise God for a conviction and sentence of eight years by plea bargain in the case of our client Rosario*, who suffered years of abuse and became pregnant as a result. She now has a 3-year-old son and is studying public accounting at university. Praise God that she continues to be restored and that he has brought justice in her case.

South Asia

  • Praise God for the successful rescue of nine girls and women from sexual exploitation last weekend in a major city. These victims were being sold for sex by a tight-knit trafficking network until IJM and local authorities tracked them down and brought them to safety. As a result, one girl was able to celebrate her 18th birthday in freedom on Sunday. Praise God for the compassionate officials who are giving her a chance at a better life!

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray for an ongoing sexual assault case in Thailand. One of the suspects is expected to testify this week. Meanwhile, the young survivor’s interview seems to have been “lost”. Please pray for complete healing for the survivor. Please pray for a fair trial, for the interview to resurface, and for God’s justice to prevail.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Please pray for wisdom and creativity for our student mobilization staff as they plan for upcoming trainings and campaigns this fall.Pray that God would draw passionate student leaders to help build the justice movement on campuses across the U.S., and that these leaders would feel equipped to rally their friends to join the fight against slavery in practical ways.
  • Please pray for a Vice President and Controller to join our team. We are seeking a talented leader to provide financial oversight for all aspects of the general accounting, financial planning & analysis, accounting services, grants accounting and field office finance teams.

IJM Prayer Requests

“Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.”

— Titus 3:14

Africa

  • Pray for our team in Kenya, as this week marks one year since the disappearance and death of Willie, Josephat and Joseph – IJM investigator, client and trusted driver. We feel the loss of our friends deeply, and are more committed than ever to seeing justice done on their behalf, and on behalf of the countless others who have been victims of police abuse. Join us as we come before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking him to move in the hearts of Kenya’s leaders to hear the voices of the oppressed and transform the police and justice system to be one that protects the poor instead of abusing them.

Latin America

  • Praise God for a successful rescue operation in the Dominican Republic last week, which led to Dominican authorities bringing two young sisters out of exploitation. After receiving an anonymous tip, anti-trafficking authorities contacted IJM. Together, they quickly mobilized to find the girls and their mother—who they believe was exploiting her two young daughters—in a crime-ridden and impoverished neighborhood in Santo Domingo. Authorities arrested the suspect, who will remain in jail pending her trial, and IJM social workers are ensuring that the young survivors will receive care to heal from the trauma they endured.

South Asia

  • Praise God for a successful rescue operation this week that freed two teenage girls from sex trafficking at a private brothel. IJM and police had been investigating this trafficking network for over a year, and just recently we found these two minor girls being exploited. On Monday afternoon, the team successfully rescued the girls and arrested four suspects. Please pray for follow-up on the legal case, and pray for comfort and healing for these girls as they settle into a loving aftercare program.

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray over the training for Trauma-Informed Care trainers that happened this week in the Philippines. This training equips leaders in law enforcement to teach other members how to interact with victims of trauma in a way that helps the victim and does not unknowingly cause further trauma. Equipping and empowering law enforcement leaders to teach others about trauma-informed care helps to ensure future members of law enforcement will also be well-trained in this area.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Please pray for our Church Mobilization Team as they continue to rally churches to participate in Freedom Sunday on September 24. Pray that God would move more and more pastors and volunteers to bring Freedom Sunday to their churches, dedicating a service to preaching about God’s heart for justice and calling congregants to join the fight against slavery.

IJM Prayer Request

"For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face."

— Psalm 11:7

Africa

  • Pray for the health of the children who were rescued out of forced labor on fishing boats in Ghana in April. One boy has a serious heart condition that requires surgery, and another has a kidney and bladder condition and is going through tests to determine next steps. Please pray for the physical, emotional and mental healing of all the children, and for wisdom and strength for the aftercare team as we support the boys and their families through to restoration.

Latin America

  • Ask for God’s comfort and confidence for children and teens in Bolivia who are testifying in court about sexual violence they experienced. IJM social workers help these brave survivors prepare to share the truth in court, but it can be extremely difficult and emotional to recount painful memories before a judge. We have a number of survivors testifying this week and this month. Pray they would be able to share the truth and move past their trauma with God’s grace, and pray that our IJM staff could support them well in the process.

South Asia

  • Please pray for an upcoming conference we are planning to engage government officials and thought leaders on the issue of human trafficking. This will be a landmark event for IJM in South Asia, and will help us advance the mission in exciting new ways. Please pray for smooth logistics, powerful speakers, and open hearts within all who attend—so that, together, we can truly bring trafficking to an end.

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray over Cambodia’s “Training of Trainers” police training in human trafficking investigations this week. Attendees will complete the training course with the ability to train other police officers at all levels. This means Cambodia’s police force will continue to have a working knowledge of human trafficking investigations for years to come, regardless of transitions in work positions and leadership.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Praise God for the over 100 new staff members, interns and fellows who completed orientation at IJM Headquarters this week! Thank God for bringing these talented men and women to join our team, and pray for creativity and strength as they begin their work. In particular, please pray for the team members who will be moving internationally for their positions. Pray for smooth logistics and physical and emotional stamina as they arrive in the field.

Rebound Prayer Request

Please pray for the health of our new Executive Director, Mark Kadel.

He has picked up a virus that is impacting his ability to perform at peak level during this intense time of year prior to Ray of Hope.

For health and strength for the rest of the Ray of Hope and Rebound Staff.

Please pray that Ray of Hope Staff meet their REACH goals of raising $1000 per staff member, put towards scholarships for kids.

For our Staff retreat this weekend and all staff and volunteers who will be attending. May it be a time of relaxation, fun, and fill-up. That God would wrap each individual in love, hope, and resilience for this summer.

Please pray for the kiddos who have been accepted to Ray of Hope, that they would arrive the first day ready to grow and learn, benefiting from the love and care they will receive during the six weeks they are there.

For all families who will be attending camp. May God give Staff the wisdom and the strength to deal with all situations that will be brought upon us this summer. That he will fill us with guidance and respect as we handle each obstacle.

IJM Prayer Request

"The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack bread. For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar- the Lord almighty is his name."

— Isaiah 51: 14-15

Africa

  • Pray for our Kenya team as they conduct community dialogues in poor communities that have been targets for police abuse and extrajudicial killings. These meetings give community members a chance to share their stories with local police and IJM partners, discussing how to better address the issue. We have been encouraged by positive media about the dialogues, and the Inspector General instructing police to support this “noble cause” by attending the sessions. Pray that participants will be emboldened to share the truth about police abuse, and that the officers attending will be receptive and inspired to lead the charge for better policing.

Latin America

  • Praise God that a Dominican court upheld justice for Liana,* a teenage girl who is healing and thriving after months of being sold for sex by her own mother. Though her mother was convicted in October for selling and exploiting her young daughter, she later appealed the court’s decision. Last week, however, the appellate court affirmed the trial court’s judgment. Join us in thanking God for this strong act of justice, and praying that Liana’s stepfather—who is also accused of exploiting her for sex—is held accountable for his crimes in an upcoming trial.

South Asia

  • Last month, we asked you to pray for a 15-year-old girl being sexually exploited in a high-end brothel. Our first attempt to rescue her was unsuccessful—but just last week police were able to find her again and rescue her! Today she is recovering in an aftercare shelter, and the madam who was enslaving her has been arrested. Thank you for your faithful prayers! Please continue to pray that the madam will be kept in custody, and pray for ongoing healing for this young survivor.

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray for our team in Thailand as they work to bring justice in an ongoing sexual assault trial. The accused has confessed to the crime, but an official judgment is not set to take place until mid-July. Please pray for a fair judgment and sentence as our team prepares for the final judicial meeting in this case. Please also pray for continued healing for the survivor.

  • Please pray for our Advocacy & Mobilization team as they continue to recruit and train volunteers in cities throughout the U.S. Pray for wisdom and creativity for these volunteers as they rally financial resources, advocacy momentum and prayer support for our work, and ask God to use them as part of a movement to make justice for the poor unstoppable.

Rebound Prayer Request

Pray for a single Mom who is having trouble managing her finances and also needs help with managing her children.

For the preparations for Ray of Hope Summer Day Program, which starts at the end of this month and will run for 6 weeks, that kids and staff will develop deep relationships that honor God and empower kids to change their lives.

Pray for the leadership team planning this year's Ray of Hope camp.  Pray that all staff, parents and campers will be inspired by God's love, compassion, patience and understanding as we seek to turn lives to Jesus.

For the incoming Ray of Hope staff, that they would have a powerful experience serving hurting kids in our community.

Pray for the families whose children did not get into Ray of Hope this year, that they are able to find alternative opportunities for their kids.

For the new Executive Director as he seeks to understand all the many facets of Rebound's incredible ministry to vulnerable children and families.

Pray for a Rebound family who has a young child trying to self-harm. Pray that this child would experience hope and restoration on a soul level.

For a single Dad who is working hard to get his son out of foster care and into his care.

IJM Prayer Request

But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”

— Amos 5:24

Africa

  • Praise God for a conviction in a long and drawn out case in Uganda, in which a powerful man abused his influence to rob poor families of their property. While we are pleased that the judge has issued a conviction in the case, we were disappointed that the sentence took the form of a fine rather than jail time. Pray for the continued safety of our clients now that the perpetrator is at large, and that our legal team would be able to successfully appeal the mild sentence.

Latin America

  • Praise God for the 22 Bolivian police officers who recently completed specialized trainings with IJM Bolivia. These officers are from a unit that focuses on combatting violent crimes, and the training equipped them to effectively investigate cases of sexual assault while being sensitive to the unique needs of children and families impacted by this crime. Pray that these officers would apply and share the things they learned, building the capacity of local law enforcement to protect vulnerable children across the country.

South Asia

  • Please continue to pray for two of our offices in South Asia as they work together to search for a boy we believe has been enslaved in a factory since January. We raised this request last month as well, and we are waiting on any updates from the police on the status of their search. In the meantime, IJM has been networking with local NGOs to help locate the traffickers who may be exploiting this boy. Please pray we could find this boy and any other children trapped along with him quickly.

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray for 4 cybersex trafficking survivors in the Philippines who were rescued this week from a conflict-ridden area.  Please pray that conflict and political tension would not hinder the rescue and aftercare of children from cybersex trafficking.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Praise God for the launch of Season 2 of The New Activist Podcast—now in partnership with the RELEVANT Podcast Network. Pray that the weekly show, which features conversations with leaders tackling some of the world’s biggest humanitarian issues, would rally people across the globe to step into the fight against slavery and injustice.

IJM Prayer Request

“He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. 'For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's; upon them he has set the world.' "

— 1 Samuel 2:8

Africa

  • Praise God for one of IJM’s first Police Abuse of Power clients, David, who passed the bar this week. IJM defended David after he was shot by police officers in 2002. This week he passed his bar exam and was admitted as an advocate at the Supreme Court of Kenya. ( Read more about David’s story.)

Latin America

  • Please pray for rescued survivors of sex trafficking in the Dominican Republic as we work alongside government social workers and partner organizations to provide comprehensive aftercare. Helping survivors of trafficking heal and grow after months or years of abuse requires a wide range of services like medical care, trauma-focused counseling, schooling and job training. IJM works with a network of partners—both government and non-governmental organizations—to restore survivors, ensuring they can thrive in safety. Please pray for strong partnerships and holistic services that will provide care to current survivors in the Dominican Republic and serve as a model for the country to care for sex trafficking victims for years to come. (Read more about our work in the Dominican Republic.)

South Asia

  • Please pray for our team’s partnerships with local authorities as we investigate complicated sex trafficking rings that exploit children. Gaining intelligence on these highly secretive networks can be difficult and dangerous, so please pray for God’s wisdom and protection for our team and the officials leading the search. Pray we could constantly keep up with the new ways criminals seek to abuse poor women and girls, and that we could help train local law enforcement well as they take up this fight.

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray for the 500 Thai hill tribe members who are awaiting citizenship status.  500 applications are set to be processed this week with a district sheriff. Without their rightful citizenship, these hill tribe members may be denied care at a hospital, prohibited from owning land, or arrested for traveling outside their home district.  They are not guaranteed rights to school or to a fair wage. Without the protection of the law, women and girls are particularly vulnerable to violence, like sexual abuse and human trafficking. Let’s pray for rightful citizenship to be granted so these hill tribe members will have greater protection of the law.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Please pray for our volunteer leaders as they host prayer gatherings in their communities over the next several weeks. Join us in praising God for these passionate volunteers, and ask God to grant them energy, wisdom and creativity as they guide attendees in prayer for IJM’s work. Ultimately, please pray that these gatherings would rally more and more people to step into the fight through prayer, building a movement that will make the end of slavery unstoppable.

IJM Prayer Request

"The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love."

— Psalm 33:5

Africa

  • Praise God for the release of a new advocacy song by a Kenyan artist calling for an end to police abuse of power. IJM has been working with partners in the human rights community in Kenya to raise awareness of police abuse and create public demand for change. IJM hosted an event for the launch of the song, which was covered widely by local media and highlighted the need for radical transformation in the police service in Kenya. Please pray that this support will continue to grow, and that we will see a response from Kenya’s leaders to bring this abuse to an end.

Latin America

  • Please pray for safety for our staff in Bolivia during a series of transportation strikes in the city of La Paz. Our team needs to travel to important trial hearings and survivor visits almost every day. We need God’s ongoing protection over every day travel around the city to make sure the children we serve get the services they need, no matter what.

South Asia

  • Ask God’s favor in our search for a 15-year-old girl possibly being sold for sex in one city’s massive red-light district. Our team supported local authorities in an attempted rescue operation last week—but this girl was not present and we were not able to rescue her. Please pray for our efforts to regroup and locate her quickly, and pray for her safety and protection in the meantime.

Southeast Asia

  • Praise God for IJM’s presence at the World Economic Forum! The Forum engages the foremost political, business, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.  IJM Cambodia Field Office Director Peter Williams represented IJM and participated in a press briefing about illegal fishing, a major source of labor trafficking in the Southeast Asia region.  Please pray for influence among global and regional leaders as IJM brings modern slavery in Southeast Asia to the forefront of global, regional, and industry agendas.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Praise God for the volunteers and pastors who have already signed up to bring Freedom Sunday to their churches on September 24th! Please pray for our Church Mobilization team as they continue to rally churches to participate, equipping them to dedicate a Sunday to preaching about God’s heart for justice and calling congregants to join the fight against slavery.

IJM Prayer Request

“I know that you can do all things, no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”

— Job 42:2

Africa

  • Pray that the IJM Ghana team would be able to obtain extended custody orders for 30 children rescued out of slavery on Lake Volta in April. These custody orders allow the aftercare shelters we partner with to have temporary custody of the rescued children for 9 months, allowing our team and partners sufficient time to assess their needs, locate their families, and work with them so they can be safely reintegrated in their communities. Please pray as well for additional capacity and resources for aftercare within Ghana as IJM seeks to rescue more children from slavery on the lake.

Latin America

  • Please pray for our Guatemala team as they launch a four-month training for police officers who will serve in sex crimes units. The training will equip these officers to effectively investigate cases of sexual assault, helping local authorities bring relief to victims and hold criminals accountable. Pray for wisdom for the IJM team members who are contributing to the training, and pray that it would build the capacity of the local justice system to protect vulnerable children from ever being victimized by this crime.

South Asia

  • Praise God for 149 people rescued this week from bonded labor slavery at a massive farm. IJM’s trained partner organization worked closely with local authorities to investigate the abuses these families had suffered for generations, and then mobilized a swift rescue operation to bring them to safety. Please pray for follow-up arrests of the suspected slave owners, and ask for God’s provision for these survivors as they return home and build new lives in freedom.

Southeast Asia

  • Pray for IJM’s new relationships with government officials. IJM recently met with an official to introduce the organization and introduce the issue of cybersex trafficking.  The official seemed very interested in the issue and in building a relationship with IJM.  Praise God for this potential relationship, and pray He continues to grow IJM’s relationships with officials who will join us in the work of justice.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Please pray for a Field Presence Director to join us as we seek to establish a new office in El Salvador. The Field Presence Director (FPD) will build and lead a multi-disciplinary team to assess the long-term need and feasibility for a Justice System Transformation program in El Salvador, addressing everyday violence as it relates to sexual violence against children, gender-based violence, and gang related violence. The ideal candidate will lay a strong foundation for a long-term programming that effectively protects vulnerable Salvadoran communities from violence.

Rebound Prayer Request

Pray for the Ray of Hope Team as we process child applications. It is always a difficult process as we discern who we are able to accept.

Pray for the Ray of Hope Summer Staff - that in the weeks leading up to camp they would mentally, emotionally, and spiritually prepare to mentor kiddos with high behavior needs.

Pray for comfort for the family of one of our staff members, whose great-grandson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

Pray for a dad for strength and the ability to focus on what he needs to do this next month in order to have his son returned to him.

Pray for a dad, that his heart towards state agencies and police changes and does not affect his son's return home. Pray for him to remain humble.

Pray for parents who are struggling with addiction issues.

For parents who are searching for housing in Whatcom County, specifically fathers. Fathers have fewer opportunities than mothers when it comes to housing.

IJM Prayer Request

April 29, 2017

"And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?"

— Luke 18:7

Africa

  • Praise God for the largest IJM Ghana rescue to date, resulting in freedom for 30 children who had been forced to work in the fishing industry on Lake Volta. The IJM Ghana team worked with police to rescue 29 boys, one six-year-old girl and an adult man from the lake, while police arrested 11 suspected traffickers who had been profiting from their forced labor. The rescued children are now safe in aftercare shelters where they will receive trauma care and any needed medical treatment while the aftercare team works to locate their families and ensure they have a safe home to return to. Pray for their healing after the abuse they have suffered, that they would be restored to complete health and able to thrive in school and their communities.

Latin America

  • Join us in praying for strong candidates for the Director of Investigations and Law Enforcement Development position in the Dominican Republic. This leader will be key in building the capacity of Dominican law enforcement to effectively investigate cases of child sex trafficking, hold suspected traffickers accountable for their crimes and treat victims in a sensitive, trauma-focused manner. Pray that God would bring individuals who have extensive law enforcement experience and are fueled by a strong passion for the work of justice.

South Asia

  • Please pray for our legal team as they finish several important trials against slave owners and traffickers. It can take several years for a case to progress through the overburdened courts, so these teams have already invested hundreds of hours and dozens of trips back and forth to courtrooms to bring these cases so far. Seeing criminals actually sent to jail for their crimes is rare, but a huge deterrent to others who try to abuse the poor—so we are praying for strong convictions in these cases to prove that justice for the poor is possible.

Southeast Asia

  • Praise God for a successful training workshop for church leaders in Cambodia, the first of several that we’ll be holding this year in Cambodia. The goal of these workshops is to equip church leaders with knowledge and tools that they can use to fight human trafficking. We will host them in provinces across the country, inviting leaders from rural provinces so they can take what they learn back to communities that are most vulnerable to labor trafficking. Several government officials spoke at the first training, and a combination of law enforcement, IJM and other NGO staff led the workshop. Praise God for this collaboration and unity in the fight against slavery in Cambodia.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM has partner offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

  • Please pray for us as we search for a Human Resources Systems Analyst – Global Rollout to join our team. IJM is seeking a professional to work with the People Operations/Human Resources (PO) team to manage Workday, IJM’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The HR Systems Analyst acts as a resource for all users throughout the organization to provide information and support in regards to PO systems and leads efforts to optimize the systems. The Systems Analyst will also be an integral part of the organization’s global Enterprise Resource Planning project and will sit in Washington, D.C.

IJM Prayer Requests

"He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.”

— Job 5:15-16

Africa

  • Pray for our Africa Aftercare Specialist as she is traveling to our offices in Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda to meet with the aftercare teams. Pray that the time together would be encouraging to the teams, and prove fruitful as they develop plans and ideas for growing our capacity to care for men, women, and children after they have been rescued from violence.

Latin America

  • Join us in praising God for a conviction in Bolivia that has brought relief and joy to Lorenzo* and his family. In 2013, 11-year-old Lorenzo was repeatedly raped by a local shop owner who may have also abused other children. IJM and Lorenzo’s parents fought for years in a slow-moving trial, and this week the shop owner was finally convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison. Lorenzo’s father was almost moved to tears out of gratitude to IJM and the courts. Praise God for this just conclusion to their case, and please pray for Lorenzo’s ongoing healing and hope.

South Asia

  • Praise God for a major victory for sex trafficking survivor Shefali,* who we have been supporting since her rescue nine years ago. She stood up bravely in court until her trafficker was convicted, and then for three more years to secure victim compensation she was owed. This month, she was finally granted these funds from the courts—the last milestone that lets her close this painful chapter of her life. The funds help girls like Shefali rebuild their lives and stay safe from re-trafficking long term, and we are so grateful she now has this security for her future!

Southeast Asia

  • Pray for a 10-year-old girl who moved into a new aftercare shelter this week in Thailand. This young girl is a survivor of sexual assault, and we have been seeking a long-term, safe place for her to heal and grow. Praise God for the provision of this spot opening up in a shelter, and pray that she would experience the fullness of life that God intends for her.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

  • Please pray for us as we search for a Director of Strategic Partnerships, Northern California to join our team. IJM is hiring a Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Bay Area. This person has the opportunity to meaningfully engage donors in our work, showing how their joyful financial partnership can bring freedom and rescue to thousands. The position is based in San Francisco and reports to the National Director of Strategic Partnerships.
