Sheriff Bill Elfo, Detective Chris Johnston and Sgt. Jay Hart from the Bellingham Police Dept. and officers from the Lynden Police Dept. will be guests of Hope4Justice
What's the scoop on trafficking in Whatcom County? Join us at the 10/16/18 Hope4Justice public meeting to find out. We'll be meeting in the Family Room at North County Christ the King, 1816 18th St., Lynden, WA from 7:00-8:30 pm.
The National Human Trafficking Hotline says, "Law enforcement agencies have a critical role to play in anti-human trafficking efforts. Law enforcement personnel may come into contact with victims of human trafficking in many situations. Whether responding law enforcement agents identify victims during a crisis call, routine traffic stop, or during a long-term investigation, they are in a position to protect and assist victims of trafficking as well as bring traffickers to justice."
We are pleased that all three agencies responded enthusiastically to our invitation to speak! We're looking forward to hearing from them and hope you can join us.
Bring a friend along with you!
