We Celebrated!

Video, volunteers, Hope4Justice events, and the STEP scholarship winner

It was a fun night!

Cake, punch, and balloons greeted attendees of the Hope4Justice public meeting on 5/15/18.  We started with prayer then footie socks went flying through the air!  Rolled up, tied with a ribbon and labeled "You knock our socks off!" the socks were tossed to volunteers as they were recognized for involvement with Hope4Justice at various events last year.   A quiz about Hope4Justice followed the flying footies and when it was completed, the two people tied for the highest score received Woods Coffee gift cards.

Next, video participants received t-shirts and gift bags and the "I Didn't Realize..." video was shown for the first time (click here to view).  The finale of the evening was awarding the $1000 STEP scholarship to WWU student, Kyle Graham.  He was chosen because of his efforts to help create awareness about trafficking by putting together the "I Didn't Realize..." video.

It was a great time of celebration, recognition, conversation, and an all-around good time!  We're thankful for the opportunities of the past twelve months and  look forward to whatever God has in store for us in the coming year.
